Area Sales Representative Scotland

Due to an upcoming retirement, we are now looking for an Area Sales Representative in Scotland.

Package:

OTE £50k+, car, phone, laptop, fuel card +benefits

The Role:

As a Salesperson within Dennison Trailers your remit is to act as a brand ambassador and key point of contact to new and existing customers in your area. You will be a trusted source of advice to industrial customers such as haulage/transport and distribution businesses in Scotland, looking to increase their trailer fleet. You will be involved in selling a full range of frames including our market-leading Skeletal Container Trailers, Curtainside Trailers, Drawbars, Platforms and Extendable Trailers and various other product ranges and services.

You will be tasked with maintaining your allocated sales territory and working the area on 50% new business development and 50% repeat account management basis. You will be involved in selling the full "Dennison” product portfolio liaising with company owners, senior buyers, purchasing managers, transport managers and various other decision makers within all road haulage and industry sectors.

You will be given full autonomy to manage your diary as you see fit in line with the business requirements, you will gain and arrange your own appointments utilising internal sales systems.

The Person:

To succeed in this role the person must be able to demonstrate a combination of skills, experience and competencies. You will be above all a proven sales professional with a demonstrable record of achievement within a new business driven role.

You should have experience in the Capital Equipment sector, selling to end-users across a diverse market. Experience gained within the Commercial Vehicle, HGV Semi Trailers, Material Handling, Field Based Asset Finance or another associated market sectors are likely to be an appropriate background for success within this role. Individuals who have previous experience of sales into transport/fleet sector are of particular interest. Most importantly, we value the quality of the experience they have gained and how they would apply it in regards to this position. Above all, we are looking for a target driven self-starter with a high work ethic, energy, drive and determination to succeed.
