1972Irish Commercials is formed and receives Volvo Agency for Republic of Ireland
1973McCarthy Commercials is formed in Watergrasshill, Co. Cork
1975The balance of shares in the trailer company sold to Crane Fruehauf
Dec 1975The 6,500th trailer is built
1976Truck production premises purchased in Blackchurch, Rathcoole, Co. Dublin
1977The first Dennison Truck is produced
1981The truck factory is closed
1982An 8,000 sq. ft. factory is built on a newly acquired site in Naas
1988The Caton Road site is purchased in Lancaster
1989A new 10,000 sq. ft. factory is built in Lancaster
1990The famous "Russian order" for 1,000 trailer comes to the market
1991The factory in Lancaster is "moth balled" and highly innovative "sliding skeletal trailer"
1991Dennison Tanker Leasing commences business
1992A new company is formed and the Lancaster factory is reopened
1996Extra Land is purchased beside the existing Naas factory
1999A sales depot is opened in Felixstowe
2001Lancaster extension is completed and new offices built
2001"The Trailer of the Year Award" is won at the Commercial Transport Show in Birmingham
2002The unique sliding tipper is developed
2002A tipping trailer wins the "Trailer of the Year Award"
2004A 10.5 acre site is purchased beside the Caton Road factory
2005A new office block is built in Naas
2006A new 16,000 sq. ft. factory is built on the old Accordis site, beside Caton Road factory
2007New production office and staff facilities built in Naas
July 2008The company achieves ISO 9001:2000 Accreditation
July 2008A total of 37,500 trailers have now been built
Oct 2012Type Approval for trailers introduced in Ireland and the UK
Oct 2012The 40,000th trailer is manufactured and handed over to Collease
Dec 2012The company wins a major "Exporting to Germany" award
